The continuing cuts in funding to universities and the arts are making ULSO’s supporters increasingly vital. Through their donations, our private and corporate sponsors facilitate all aspects of the orchestra’s work.
The ULSO Friends Scheme was founded in 2005 to create a community of support that is essential for the ongoing development of the orchestra. All our Friends are invited to become more closely involved with the orchestra and also receive preferential ticket options at our concerts, invitations to wine receptions and special events, a subscription to the quarterly newsletter, and more. In addition to private sponsors, ULSO also welcomes partnerships with organisations who are keen to support the arts.
