Summer Concert 2012

19:30 to 21:30, Sat 2nd June 2012

The University of London Symphony Orchestra is joined by guest conductor Enrique Carreón-Robledo and flautist Joshua Batty for an evening of English, French, and Russian music. Opening with Bax’s Tintagel, a lyrical depiction of the castle by the same name and a perfect way to celebrate the Jubilee weekend, we continue with Jolivet’s playful Flute Concerto, and finish with the dramatic Romeo and Juliet suite by Prokofiev. This concert is part of the St. Stephen’s Festival of Arts and Faith.
